Fire destroys vacant Dayton home

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - An overnight fire destroys a house on Clover Street.

Fire crews responded to a vacant home at the corner of St. Paul Avenue and Clover Street, to find the second floor overwhelmed by flames.

Firefighters went on the defensive as the fire made its way to the attic.

Crews continued to battle hot spots until sunrise, the house is considered a total loss this morning.
