Fire damages Harrison Township home

HARRISON TWP, Ohio (WDTN) - Harrison Township fire crews were called Saturday afternoon after a homeowner noticed flames in their home.

The fire spread from the chimney to the attic of the Hamlin Drive residence and was quickly knocked down by crews.

The blaze is being blamed on a faulty heating stove.

No injuries were reported and damage is estimated at $25,000.
