DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Dayton police are investigating after a fight broke out inside a downtown Dayton nightclub early Sunday.
Calls to 911 sent officers racing to Club Vault just before 3 a.m.
A witnesses told a 911 operator approximately 50 people were involved in the fights.
Its unclear what sparked the brawl.
Two men were taken to a local hospital with head lacerations. No arrests have been made.
This marks the second incident to happen as the club was closing its doors for the night.
On Thanksgiving night, Aundric Kerley, 23, was shot and killed in downtown Dayton after leaving Club Vault. No arrests have been made in the case.
"When you look at a problem like this you are looking at a bigger problem," said Rev. Jerome McCorry, who is the President of the Adam Project. "Our males are not being educated about how to act in public. We have young people who are missing the boat and I hold them responsible for their actions."
Members with the Adam Project are taking part in police efforts, as well as the club's efforts in stopping the violence.
"I've been talking with the owners of the club," said McCorry. "We have offered to station members of the Adam Project outside of the establishment when it lets out for the night in an effort to combat the violence happening during this time."
McCorry also encourages anyone with any information on either of these cases to come forward. Information can be reported anonymously to Crime Stoppers at (937) 222-7867. You can remain anonymous and could earn a cash reward.
