Faulty furnace causes Dayton industrial fire

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Dayton fire officials have ruled a faulty furnace as the cause of an industrial fire Saturday afternoon.
Neighbors reported heavy smoke billowing from an industrial building in the 1400 block of South Broadway Street just before 2 p.m. Saturday.
Crews responded to the scene and shut off the gas to the furnace to contain the smoke and flames.
No one was in the building at the time of the fire.
The fire remains under investigation.
