DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Sinclair Community College instructors are giving their students the skills to fly drones.

The college is one of more than 20 new entities added to the list of those allowed to fly the unmanned aircraft at the Springfield-Beckley Municipal Airport..

Adam Murka is with the college.  He told 2 News they are preparing students for applications in emergency rescue and agriculture.  Murka said this could be the next best thing in technology.

"Think about the personal computer when they came out.  We had no idea all the ways the personal computer is going to revolutionize our lives. I think that USA could be a similar device and we are trying to make sure when that change happens it's accompanied by jobs and economic development here in Dayton," said Murka.
