Downtown bank robbed, suspect caught

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - The suspect in a downtown Dayton bank robbery was caught a short time after the heist.

The US Bank at 10 N. Ludlow Street was robbed about 11:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 3.

Police first searched for the suspect around the area of the RTA hub.

He was then tracked to an area at the bottom of the US 35 exit ramp at Ludlow and Perry streets where he was arrested.

Witnesses told detectives the suspect did not display a weapon while in the bank.

No injuries were reported.

The suspects name has not been released.
