Dayton rape suspect marched into jail

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A 19-year-old man is behind bars accused of raping a 3-year-old girl.

Dayton police arrested Kendall Lynch after the victim's mother called police.  2 news captured Lynch as he was walked into the Montgomery County Jail Thursday.

The incident happened at a home on Harvard Boulevard last month.

Police say another person was babysitting the child at Lynch's home when the alleged attack occurred.

The child's mother reported what happened to police.

The investigation continues.
