CLAYTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) - A Lewisburg, Ohio woman was killed in a two vehicle accident in Clay Township, Jan. 7, 2013.
Lisa K. Lutz, 60, was eastbound on North County Line Road, when according to investigators with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, she pulled into the intersection at Rangeline Road and was struck by a southbound pickup truck driven by 64-year-old Larry Thoele of Laura, Ohio.
Lutz was pronounced dead at the scene.
Thoele and a passenger in his truck were not injured.
Troopers are still investigating the accident, but said neither speed nor alcohol played a part in the collision. However, witnesses told 2 NEWS there was fog in the area at the time of the crash.
The accident happened at approximately 7:45 a.m.
