MIAMI TOWNSHIP (WDTN) - A tip from a neighbor lead police to a marijuana grow operation in Miami Township Friday morning.
Officers pulled plants, grow lights, and a gun out of the house in the 2400 block of Lehigh Place.
Range Task Force members and Miami Township officers worked together on this operation.
They told 2 NEWS, no matter how big or small the operation is, they appreciate neighbors speaking up.
"We take action on something like this," said Miami Twp. Sgt. Scott Fitzgerald. "It may not seem significant, but these are not the type of people we want coming into our neighborhoods."
The drug bust remains under investigation, and police have not said what charges the homeowner could be facing.
