Cops: Riverside robber arrested

RIVERSIDE, Ohio (WDTN) - The suspect in five robberies in in riverside 12 days in January is now behind bars.

Timothy Cox, 28,  was arrested Jan. 25 at his home in the 5000 block of Penn Avenue in Riverside.

Targets of the robberies were the Yum Yum's Drive Thru, a Domino's Pizza, an Advanced Auto Parts, a Penn Station restaurant, and a NAPA Auto Parts.

It was after the NAPA heist that officers followed tracks in the snow from the store to the house on Penn Avenue.

After police executed a search warrant on his house, Cox was arrested on other outstanding warrants.

They will present their case on the five Riverside holdups to the prosecutor's office on Jan. 31.
