DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - An attempted traffic stop on Interstate 75 Friday afternoon ended in a crash at a Dayton intersection.

An Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper tried to stop a car for speeding when the driver sped away.

That started a brief chase that ended when the car collided with another at the intersection of Stanley Avenue and Brandt Street.

Investigators discovered the car was reported stolen out of Dayton.

The driver and his passenger were arrested and taken to the Montgomery County Jail.

The driver and a passenger in the other car were taken to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries.

Investigators have not released the names of anyone involved.
