DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Dayton police are investigating a bank robbery at this hour.

The robber hit the Key Bank on Linden Avenue around 5:30 pm.  The bank is located in the Eastown Shopping Center.

The bank was open at the time, but it does not appear that anyone was hurt.

“Suspect walks in and he kinda bum rushed the customers and then began to yell out instructions on how he wanted the money, he didn't want to hurt anyone,” said Sgt. Moises Perez, Dayton Police Department.

A surveillance photo shows the suspect with a hood on his head and a bandana over his face.

Police believe he fled to the bank to a nearby RTA hub.  Officers think an accomplice might have picked him up there in a black Dodge Caravan.

Call Crime Stoppers at 222-7867 if you have any information about this crime.
