MIAMISBURG, Ohio (WDTN) - Seven people were injured Sunday in a two car collision in Miamisburg.

The crash happened shortly after 1 p.m. Sunday on Alex Road and State Route 725.

Officials said a green car ran a red light and hit another vehicle.

Six people inside the green car were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the other car was also taken to the hospital but is expected to recover.

Two people were also cited for misconduct at the emergency scene when they got into an altercation with police on the scene.
