WEST MILTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Miami County deputies think they have a trio of burglars off the streets after several months of investigation.

Officers served a warrant at 110 Emerick Road in West Milton Monday.  They recovered stolen firearms, televisions and other items.  The home belongs to Jason Vencil, 43.  The stolen property was traced back to burglaries in Miami and Warren counties.

Vencil is now charged with three counts of receiving stolen property.

Anthony Smedley, 35, of Riverside, is charged with having a weapon under disability and Frederick Lightfoot, 32, of Dayton, is also charged with having a weapon under disability.

The investigation is on-going.  Deputies believe the men are responsible for multiple burglaries throughout the Miami Valley.  They expect more charges to be filed.

All three are currently in the Miami County Jail.
