Puppy tosser ordered to pay fine

MIAMI Co., Ohio (WDTN) - Remember the puppies that were tossed over a bridge in Miami County in November 2012?
The case came to its conclusion in court Friday.
Steven Bixler, 29, was ordered to pay $400 dollars in fines and court costs for tossing the pups.
His girlfriend, Shonda Lee, 36, will have to fork over $200 for failure to register the puppies.
The puppies were reunited with their mother at the Miami County Animal Shelter a few days after they were dumped.
All four puppies have since been adopted into happy homes.
