Piqua store the target of investigation

PIQUA, Ohio (WDTN) - Officers from the Ohio Investigative Unit and Piqua Police conducted a search of a Miami County business Thursday.

OIU officials said there are currently five administrative charges filed against the Buckeye Chuck Marathon in Piqua for allowing the illegal use of  Electronic Benefit Transfer cards.

They also said the business, located at 1130 Park Avenue, was cited for one count of illegal possession of a food stamp card and  one count of illegal possession of drug paraphernalia.

Agents said the investigation is ongoing.
