PIQUA, Ohio (WDTN) - A Piqua man was found guilty Friday of murdering a 4-year old girl.

Travis Gauldin told investigators that Malisa De La Ssancha fell down the stairs while he was babysitting in April 2012.

She was treated at Children's Medical Center, but later died from her injuries.  Investigators said her injuries did not match a fall down the stairs.

The incident happened inside a home on Caldwell Street.

Gauldin has a history of domestic violence arrests and disorderly conduct.

He will be sentenced Tuesday, January 29, 2013.
