Driver slams pickup truck into tree

CASSTOWN, Ohio (WDTN) - A Miami County man was rushed to the hospital by air after crashing his pickup truck Wednesday afternoon.

Police say Kenneth Baker, 30, lost control on a curve on Casstown-Sidney Road at Cathcart Road around 3:00 pm.  He crashed into a tree several hundred feet from the roadway.

The Careflight helicopter was called to rush Baker to Miami Valley Hospital.  Baker was listed in fair condition Wednesday night.

The crash remains under investigation.
