Donations needed for seized animals

Donations are need for more than 125 animals seized from a Miami County farm.

Officials with the Ohio Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and the Miami County Humane Society responded to Serenity Horse Rescue, on State Route 201 in Bethel Township, Sunday.

The animals removed from the property included horses, donkeys, goats, sheep, rabbits, ducks, geese, dogs, alpacas, pigs and turkeys, according to the Ohio Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

The animals were examined and given medical attention.

The OHIO SPCA will be caring for the animals. They told 2 NEWS donations are desperately needed to help with vet care and feed. To make a donation online, click here .
