TIPP CITY, Ohio (WDTN) - Miami County animal control officials seized 84 dogs, from a Tipp City home, on Friday.

Officials seized the dogs from a home on U.S. 40, after the owner was unable to take care of the animals.

The woman who owned the dogs had been hospitalized and had friends caring for the canines, who officials say are in good health and at a healthy weight.

The dogs are currently being housed at the Miami County animal shelter and at the Miami County Fairgrounds.

The dogs will be up for adoption from Miami County animal resource center. If you want to help, they are currently asking for bedding donations and dog food. To contact the shelter, call (937) 332-6919.
