ZANESFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) - Managers at Mad River Mountain on the 1000 block of Snow Valley road in Zanesfield said this is their busiest March mid-week they've had in years.

Caitlin Grogan said she traveled from central Ohio to ski Wednesday afternoon.

"Yeah, I'm really happy we've been waiting all year.  We usually ski in Colorado, so we are happy to have some real powder to go into," said Grogan.

Kristin Mavrouleas shared that same happiness with Grogan.  Mavrouleas, her two boys and a friend spent their snow day on the slopes.

"This is my son Ben is their friend and Michael is this other son.  We just thought we'd have a snow day from school and we just came up and skied for the last time this season," said Mavrouleas.
