XENIA, Ohio (WDTN) - Greene County Health officials are investigating whether a woman's death is due to the flu.

There is no official ruling yet, but health department public relations does confirm to 2 NEWS that a 22-year old woman went to the hospital for treatment of flu-like symptoms.  She tested positive for influenza-A.

We have learned that she is Amelia Perry, of Fairborn, whose obituary on the Frings and Bayliff Funeral Home website, says died suddenly Tuesday, January 8.  She was a student at Wright State University and a graduate of Fairborn High School.

Health officials say the victim did not have any other underlying conditions they are aware of that could be a factor in her death.

The investigation is underway now to make an official ruling on how the woman died.
