Mother charged in death of her child

FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) - A Fairborn mother was arrested recently in the death of an infant child.
Police said officers and medics were dispatched to a Fairborn apartment in August 2012 for an unconscious, non-breathing, baby. When they arrived, they found the 3 week-old was dead.
Cassandra Lewis was taken into custody Jan. 18, 2013 and charged with involuntary manslaughter, endangering children, and tampering with evidence.
She is being held in the Greene County Jail with a bond of $50,000.
