Speeding car crashes into family's home

XENIA, Ohio (WDTN) - Two men were hurt after their speeding car crashed into a home in Xenia Sunday night.

It happened around 9:15 p.m. on Church street.

Officials said the man was driving westbound in a Chevy Malibu when he lost control and smashed into a house, then rolled several times.

We talked to Lindsay Bradley, the mother who lives in the house with her two young babies.

"Thank god we weren't home I have two young babies," Bradley said.

Bradley was emotional at how much worse things could have been-- "Their rooms are in the back.  If they would been in the living room at the time, it would have been bad. Their TV was sitting right there at the fire wall."

She was also worried about the family's dog, Zoey, who was inside at the time of the crash. Witnesses later told us the dog was found.

Police said the car was possibly stolen.

One of the men was thrown from the car during the crash. Both men were taken to Miami Valley Hospital with head injuries.

Bradley and her family were forced to stay somewhere else, but they were able to go inside and grab any belongings they needed.
