HUBER HEIGHTS, Ohio (WDTN) - "I heard the great white death is coming once again," says Rick Tuttle.
And for him, the white stuff means green.
"You hear about it a day or two ahead, like we do and we go, ok here comes the money. I work for Frito Lay's so they're buying up all the chips and everything they can because you know we might be stuck in the house for a couple days," explains Tuttle.
Winter weather also means big business for Hendrick's Auto Service in Huber Heights.
Right now, they're busy getting cars ready.
"We recommend that your windshield wiper are always clear with good wiper blades and make sure that your windshield solvent is good and keep your windshield clear," comments owner Dale Hendricks.
Hendricks says about half of the drivers he sees aren't prepared.
So he has some advice for you.
"We also recommend that you put a blanket or an extra coat in the car in case your car would stall. We look for anybody that's out in this kind of weather that's really, really bad. Make sure your cell phone is charged. and you can always call in case your car does stall," he explains.
