FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) - A visitation is taking place for the Christina Maddock at Belton-Stroup Funeral Home on Dayton Yellow Springs Road in Fairborn.

It's sad day as friends and family remember the 27-year-old taken too soon.

The 27-year-old was a graduate of Fairborn High School and Wright State University.

She was also a member of the Ohio National Guard.

Everyone we talked to tells me the thing they will remember the most about Christina is her smile and work ethic.
She was loved by many here in this community, so it's no surprise that hundreds of people are coming to pay their respects.

The family didn't want to speak to the media.

But, in lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you send memorial contributions to the Christina Maddock Memorial Fund at any Fifth Third Bank location.

The visitation runs until 8 Friday night.

Funeral service will be Saturday afternoon at 4 P.M. at the Victory Temple, also in Fairborn.
