GREENE COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) - The Greene County Sheriff's Office has identified the victims in an apparent murder-suicide that occurred Dec. 1 in Miami Township.
According to Sheriff Gene Fischer, it appears 47-year-old Elizabeth Carter was shot and killed by her ex-husband, 51-year-old Jimmy Carter. Fischer said Carter then shot himself.
When deputies and medics responded to 3481 Larkins Road around 9:15 p.m. they found Elizabeth Carter was already dead.
Jimmy Carter died while being attended to by medics.
