Officers received a call Friday afternoon about a suspicious …

XENIA, Ohio (WDTN) - Firefighters called a house that caught fire a total loss late Friday night in Xenia Township.
The flames started just before midnight at 2280 U.S. 68 South in Xenia Township. Firefighters told 2 News they did a primary search when they arrived on the scene, and no one was found inside the house. Crews then took a defensive approach and let the house burn to the ground.
No damage estimates were immediately given.
Departments from Xenia, Xenia Township, Silvercreek Township were among those on scene for the house fire. Firefighters also called in salt trucks to treat the roadways around the house.
