BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) - State troopers credit seat belts for saving the lives of two drivers in Beavercreek Thursday afternoon.
The cars hit head-on along Treibein Road near Ludlow around 2:30 pm.
Troopers say the car heading south drifted left of center, hitting the oncoming car. It is unclear right now why that driver, a man in his 50s, drifted into the other lane.
The other driver was a woman in her 20s.
Troopers say both drivers suffered serious injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment. Both are expected to recover.
The crash remains under investigation.
