BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) - Beavercreek Police issued stern instructions Monday for anyone who may find a “pop bottle bomb” in their neighborhood: Call 911 immediately.

The warning came hours after the Dayton Police Bomb Squad detonated two of the potentially hazardous devices 2300 block of Wedgewood Drive late Sunday night.

Police are looking into several explosions that occurred between Thursday and Sunday night in the Hunter’s Ridge and Christalee Acres neighborhoods.

In the most recent case, a witness saw two teens running from the area where police later found the pop bottles.

The Beavercreek Police Department is asking anyone with information as to the identity of the suspects responsible for these crimes to call the Beavercreek Police Department Tip Line at 320-7393.
