GREENVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) - A car crash in Greenville Tuesday night turned out to be a two-for-one investigation.
Police received a call around 9:45 pm to respond to an overturned van on US 36 at US 127. The driver somehow lost control, flipping the van. The driver then fled the scene.
A short time later, investigators say a car driving by tried to change lanes and struck the overturned van.
The van then careened into a woman who stopped to help the victim of the van crash. That woman, Casey McGlothlin, 18, was taken to the hospital in Greenville for treatment.
The woman driving the car, Heather Gregorace, 27, was also treated at the hospital for her injuries.
The van driver has still not come forward. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call the Greenville Police Department at (937) 548-1103.
