BETHEL TWP., Ohio (WDTN) - Investigators in Miami County are investigating a fatal crash in Bethel Township.
Witnesses say they saw a pickup truck veer off the road and hit several trees before coming to rest on US Route 40 near Sullivan Road.
The victim was identified as John Hughes, 56, of New Carlisle. First responders say he was on his way home work at the time of the crash.
The crash happened around 3:00 pm.
The investigation into the crash continues, but it does not appear to be weather related.
