New Carlisle man accused of 2 rapes

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) - A New Carlisle man was in court Friday morning facing two charges of rape.
Shawn D. Haggar, 35, is accused of sexually assaulting two juveniles.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office said they received a call from a local school reporting the possible crimes.
Sheriff’s investigators and Clark County Children Services interviewed the children, who they said told them of several incidents of sexual abuse which occurred over several years.
Haggar was questioned, then taken into custody March 14.
Haggar remains in the Clark County Jail with bond set at $200,000.
