Male victim drowns in Clark County lake

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) - A male victim drowned at Buck Creek State Park Tuesday afternoon.

Witnesses told 2 NEWS the victim was swimming with friends in the Clarence J. Brown Reservoir around 2:00 when he went under.

He was pulled from the water and rescue crews performed CPR, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The park is located in Moorefield Township northeast of Springfield.
