SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) - About 50 jobs will be lost at the Springfield Air National Guard Base.
Ohio National Guard spokesman told 2 NEWS Wednesday that cuts are part of the 2013 budget signed by President Obama in January. It is not related to sequestration.
Base officials say they are still gathering information on the cuts and its affects. It is unclear right now which jobs are on the chopping block.
The cuts are expected to take place by October.
