HARMONY TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) - Ohio State Troopers were called to the scene of a fatal two car accident in Clark County.

It happened at the intersection of  State Route 54 and Platsburg Road in Harmony Township around 1 Saturday afternoon.

Troopers said the driver of a PT cruiser failed to yield to a pick-up truck, and the two vehicles collided. The PT cruiser then struck a nearby home.

The driver of the PT Cruiser, Daniel Johnson, 56, of London, was pronounced dead at the scene. His passenger, a juvenile, was taken to Springfield Regional Hospital with minor injuries.

The other driver was flown to Miami Valley Hospital with what officials called non-life threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
