WAPAKONETA, Ohio (WDTN) - An 11-year old girl is accused of making a bomb threat at a middle school in Wapakoneta.
The call came in Thursday morning. The Allen County Regional Bomb Squad searched the building and found nothing. Bomb sniffing dogs were also used to clear the building.
The threat was written on a desk sitting in a hallway outside of a classroom.
Police say the girl confessed that she wrote the threatening note. The sixth grader's case now goes to the Auglaize County Prosecutor's Office for review. Officers say they do expect charges.
The student is banned from school property until the issue is resolved.
