Second Earlham student dies after Richmond train accident

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - A second person has died after being struck by a train in Richmond, Ind.
Lenore Edwards died Nov. 25 at Miami Valley Hospital following injuries sustained in the Nov. 9 accident in the city’s popular Depot District.
Edwards was a sophomore at Earlham College.
21-year-old Therese Heymann of Burlingame, California, was pronounced dead on the scene.
Earlham senior Graham Nissen, of Columbus, Ind. was also injured in the accident. He was listed in good condition at Miami Valley Hospital on the day of the accident.
The trio were walking near the railroad tracks when they were struck by the train.
