Dayton man killed in Richmond stabbing

RICHMOND, Ind. (WDTN) - A Dayton man remains in the Wayne County, Ind. jail Monday following a deadly stabbing in a Richmond, Ind. apartment.
Jail records show Ataul J. Shafeek, of Dayton Ohio, faces a preliminary murder charge following the incident Saturday night at an apartment on J Street.
Richmond Police say Shafeek stabbed Shaun Ali, 20, also of Dayton, during an altercation.
Investigators said the victim was at the apartment when Shafeek showed up to visit a child at the residence.
