DAYTON (WDTN) - Several Dayton homes were evacuated Saturday night after police said a suspect opened fire with a BB gun.
Investigators tell 2 NEWS around 7:45 a woman was pumping gas at the Valero station at Smithville Road and Huffman Avenue when the suspect used a BB gun to shoot out the back window of her car.
The victim's child was in the back seat, but was not injured.
Officers evacuated the area and found the suspect in his apartment across the street.
The suspect was arrested and investigators said he will now be charged with inducing panic, child endangering, and criminal damaging.
