DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Dayton police need your help solving one of the city's last homicides of 2012.

They're hoping some just-released surveillance footage will bring the killer to justice.

On the morning of December 12, 2012, Ramon McDonald, 32, was shot to death in the 100 block of Lexington Avenue in Dayton.  Just before it happened, the victim was seen arguing with the suspect in the parking lot of the BP Station at Salem and Lexington avenues.  Surveillance video from that location offers up a good look at both the suspect and his vehicle.

"We're asking the for the public's assistance in solving this murder, hope you recognize the suspect or his vehicle which is a maroon Dodge Charger with "Daytona" on the rear quarter panel and the suspect is wearing a white ball cap with orange bill and distinctive logo," said Cayce Cantrell, Crime Stoppers.

As always, call Crime Stoppers at 222-7867 if you have any information about his crime.
