DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - Officials told 2 NEWS that prosecutors would be taking a look at charges some time Thursday morning after five people were taken into custody during a raid at a Dayton apartment complex.
Dayton police officers and SWAT members combined forces Wednesday night to obtain search warrants at the Wrightview Apartments on Riverview Terrace.
Investigators entered two units around 8 p.m. Authorities said they found crack cocaine, heroin and marijuana inside, as well as some weapons.
The apartment manager said he's glad to see the suspects in custody.
"We have been called about the unwanted traffic in and out of the building, and tenants being bothered by people who don't live here knocking on doors," said Richard Hathcock III.
Officials said two people were arrested for drug trafficking, two others for permitting drugs in the apartments, and the fifth on a warrant.
