SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) - An armed robbery in Springfield leaves an employee shaken and police searching.
Springfield Police responded to Sunny's Drive Thru, at 915 N. Belmont Ave., just before 8 p.m. Saturday night. A female employee said a man entered the drive thru pointed a gun at her face and demanded cash and cigarettes.
The suspect, described as a 5'10", white male, weighing about 180 pounds, in his 30s fled the location and remains on the run.
The man got away with 8 cartons of cigarettes and an unknown amount of cash from the register.
The incident remains under investigation.
