DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - At about 10 am on September 23, 2012 surveillance video shows maintenance workers going about their chores inside a fraternal organization on South Paul Laurence Dunbar in Dayton.

In another part of the building at the same time, another camera shows a robber breaking in and trying to get money from the register, which he was unable to do.

As he ran from the building, he encountered the workers and opened fire, shooting one of them twice in the leg.  The robber then ran away.  The employee who was shot was able to recover from his injuries.

The suspect is described as a black male approximately 5-10, medium build with a medium complexion.  He was wearing a red mask over his head, a white sweatshirt and blue jeans.

He was armed with a handgun and is considered extremely dangerous.

"We don't really have a lot of information about this, so we're hoping someone out there recognizes the suspect from the surveillance video and can call Crime Stoppers," said Detective Cayce Cantrell, Dayton Police Department.
