TROTWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) - Police are questioned three teenagers accused of stealing an SUV with a child inside, then leading deputies on a chase.

According to officials, the teens stole the vehicle from Nevada Avenue in Trotwood at about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. Officials said the SUV's owner was warming it up and left her 3-year-old child inside while she stepped inside for a moment.

Not far from the home, the suspects forced the child out of the car.

Soon after, Montgomery County deputies spotted the SUV in the McDonald's drive-thru on Main Street in Harrison Township.

From there, the suspects led deputies on a chase that ended on Malvern Avenue. The suspects tried to run, but were caught shortly after.

Officers said they are questioning a 16-year-old driver, an 18-year-old passenger and a 16-year-old passenger. It appears the driver will face charges in the chase, police said. More charges are likely.
