DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) - From construction in Englewood to fitness in Fairborn, 2 News Today has 5 things you need to know for Thursday, June 21, 2012.

1.  Construction crews will continue paving and widening a one-mile portion of Wenger Road at Union.

2.  Dayton History is hosting an antique appraisal day at Carrillon Park from 11 to 3 p.m. Thursday. 

3. Fairborn and Wright Patt Fire Departments face off in the battle of the badge blood drive, with donors invited to give at the American Legion Hall in Fairborn from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.

4. Miami Valley law enforcement will be taking part in a torch run Thursday for the Ohio Special Olympics.

5.  The Greene County Healthy Lifestyles Coalition hosts a family fitness challenge from 1-3 p.m. at Central Park in Fairborn.
