MIAMI TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) - A major super market is making some major changes,

Kroger announced Friday they are making changes to help with your bottom line.

Starting Feb. 4, you will see lower prices across the store, according to company officials.

They said their customers are telling them they want lower prices in the aisle everyday, not gimmicky coupons in the mail. Kroger Plus Card members will receive targeted mailers featuring their frequently purchased items.

They said they'll continue with their theme sales, like 5-for-5 and 99 cents sales, while focusing their aggressive new pricing on produce, natural, and general merchandise, with an emphasis on comparison shopping.

With a market share of nearly 40 percent in the the Dayton region, Kroger officials said this new pricing structure will keep their loyal customers coming back to their 110 locations in Dayton, Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and eastern Indiana.

Also announced at the new conference at the new Austin Landing store - in 30 days, Kroger will stop offering double coupons up to 50 cents.
